Rob Geldhof: Web Production Assistant
Technology geek meets thrill-seeking overachiever. Who shall win?
Rob Geldhof discovered his love of technology through his parents’ Commodore 64 computer. Before long, his love of technology merged with his love of design, and a production assistant was born. Geldhof graduated with honours from the Web Technology Specialist program at Everest College in Hamilton. He is a versatile player and can stickhandle Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. He writes in HTML and CSS and wreaks havoc with JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and ASP.
Geldhof is your classic thrill-seeker. He mastered the “Top Thrill Dragster” roller coaster in Sandusky, Ohio and continues to pursue the tallest, fastest and steepest. His love for thrills and speed was cemented at age 10, when he piloted an airplane, hauled back on the stick and pulled a few loops (or so he says).
You could also describe Geldhof as an overachiever. He taught himself to play not just one, but three musical instruments, and as a greenhouse operator in 2007, Geldhof harvested the largest crop of bulbs ever seen in Ontario. The Easter lily market never recovered.
