Jay Bousada: President
Despite very serious addictions to black coffee and Excel, Jay managed to found and register Thrillworks in 1999 and went on to incorporate the company as Thrillworks Inc. in 2000.
An engineer by training (University of Western Ontario, Class of ‘96) you’ll feel very taken care of knowing that your needs are being met by someone with that unmistakable “engineer’s brain.” Exacting, meticulous, a natural and passionate problem-solver, Jay’s engineering background is reflected in his methodical approach to your project's conception and execution, and in his unwavering attention to process and results. A specialist in enterprise website development, Jay has extensive experience with online strategy, content management systems, and web applications. And don’t worry—he is HUMONGOUSLY hands-on and oversees all aspects of the company. Translation? He loves the client relations side of the business, so, if you ever need him—you’ll get him.
In addition to client relations, Jay’s involved with business and project development, business strategy and marketing. A long-standing member of The Entrepreneurs' Organization, EO Toronto, when Jay's not working absurdly late at the office, he can be found at home curled up (yeah, that’s right, “curled up”) with his kids. (Jay vehemently denies that he actually curls up, but there is reportedly photographic evidence.)
