Wanted: Web Developer
We're looking for a smart, extremely talented, hands-on web developer with experience 'in the trenches' of front end web development. You'd need well-rounded web development skills, being able to skate effortlessly across HTML, CSS and JavaScript boundaries (if you can add a dash of PHP or a sprinkling of ActionScript here and there so much the better.) Essentially, if you would like to live in the CSS Zen Garden…you're likely the person we are looking for.
You'll ideally have some serious experience (at least 4 years) in web development in an agency environment and enjoy pushing pixels around.
Specifically, you'll need to be really comfortable with:
- Writing well-documented, maintainable, and extensible code
- Cross-browser (yes, even IE6!) HTML, Javascript, and CSS
- Mobile website front end coding
Ideally, you'll also have experience working with:
- Flash and ActionScript 3.0
- CMS Systems (preference will be given to candidates with experience with RedDot WCMS)
Some other skills we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
- Proven ability to multi-task/think on your feet
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks
- An understanding of the online marketing space
- Excellent time management
- Self-starter
- Team player whose glass is always half full
- Proactive
- Genuine passion for the online space
