Wanted: User Experience Strategist

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented, problem solver for our Digital User Experience Strategist position. If you are the type of person who can see both the 'forest' and the 'trees' we'd like to speak to you.

This position is a mid-level, non-management position that will involve collecting, analyzing and documenting information to help bridge communication between clients and internal resources. You'll ideally have a degree in Marketing and have some serious experience in Digital & Online Marketing. Preference will be given to well-rounded candidates who have 'hands on' experience with information architecture and user experience design.

The successful candidate:

Must play well with others

  • Proven ability to communicate with both creative and technical teams
  • Work closely with cross-functional team, including business, strategists and production team to create a great online user experience
  • Balances business strategy with user needs and technology
  • Understand and be an advocate for user needs

  • Thorough understanding of web site design, development and technology
  • Translate customer requests and business requirements into specifications and tangible changes
  • Understanding of user interface design best practices
  • Create wireframes, site maps, use cases, business process flows, navigational flows
  • Create the best possible, consistent user experience
  • Understand web analytics, best practices
  • Define and document interface requirements
  • Carry an outstanding portfolio
  • Know Visio, Office, Photoshop
  • Create consistent information hierarchies and taxonomies
  • Understand the implications of search and SEO
